Always enjoy coming here when I come to Minneapolis about 30 minutes away and want Chinese food. In about 15 minutes my food is made fresh. Once I received wrong item and even though it was weeks later my correct item was given to me after I explained that I don't come that way often to the manager. I did have my reciept.

Ordered delivery and it came in 30 mins rather than 55 like originally stated, so that was a nice surprise! Got shrimp with lobster sauce and pork egg foo young, both very tasty, and the fried rice was also excellent! The dinner special was big enough to split between two people. Eggrolls are giant and crispy, good with the provided duck sauce.

It's the hood spot, LOL. Nahhh. This is my spot shrimp Egg Foo Young. The best so far in Uptown. Management has to remember everyone can't cook it, though. It takes a delicate hand to keep it fluffy. BTW the Ribs are ghetto fabulous. Don't be fooled by glass window.

Favorite Chinese takeout restaurant in Minneapolis! My family’s been coming to this place since I was a kid, and I know for sure my parents have gotten the chicken wings with fried rice here since before I was born. That’s still their favorite dish today. And Cheng’s serving sizes???? PACKED. They do not skimp out on fried rice or white rice for their dishes. Swear one order of chicken wings with fried rice can feed 2-3 people. Came here on Christmas too and the staff were working as fast as they could to get the orders out. Love this place.

This restaurant is so good! I tried two different soups (chicken and rice & egg drop,) and they were hot and delicious. I’m pretty picky with soups, especially these two types in particular, but these were the best soups I’ve had from a Chinese restaurant in a long time. The chow mein noodle toppings that come with were a nice addition too. Wontons were great. General Tso chicken with fried rice was also great. The price for everything was beyond reasonable, especially the soup for how much you get, and the food was ready very quickly.

I recommend the beef szcheuan. The beef is tender, and it comes with variety of vegetables (baby corn, onions, carrots, green peppers, broccoli, and snow pea pods,) and white rice. The teriyaki chicken skewers are very tender, full of flavor, and always come in a packet that keeps them steaming hot. The cream cheese wontons are crispy, the filling and the wonton wrapper balance each other out pretty well, and you get a sizable amount of sweet and sour to dip them in. The only item I have tried that I do not care for is the hot and sour soup, I felt as though it didn’t have much flavor (although it does bring in the hot and spicy factor, which I do like.) The portions are always large, and I am usually able to eat left overs one or two days after ordering.
